Brogues Down Under for Tuesday Irish Set Dancing

Standard
Youngsters form the ‘Star’ for the Irish Set Dance

Croí na Céilí is all set for the next Irish Set Dance session at Brogues Down Under in Lake Worth.  In case you didn’t know, Irish Set Dancing is a form of Irish social dancing popular in Ireland and in many countries of the world. Eight people create a square formation, and follow a series of movements using simple footwork and dance to lively Irish tunes.  Come at 6:30 for a quick lesson on the simple steps and join the fun as the band launches into our repertoire of reels, jig, hornpipes, and even a polka or two.  It’s social, good exercise, and it’s fun!
